September 30, 2009. Aspirantes from around Broward County toured the Ana G. Mendez University System, Miramar Campus.Alongside the information session regarding degrees offered by the university, Aspirantes discussed the educational challenges faced by Hispanic and Black families.They learned, of the Hispanic and Black students that enroll in a post-secondary degree only about 40% graduate; a statistic Aspirantes want to change.By building a foundation of support now, these Aspirantes are changing their future – today.
